Shen The Irken

"Huh? What did I say wrong? She's my mate." Shen whined folding his arms in mid air

Meredith sighed, "Hey, lets quit the bickering and work on fixing the rust bucket, eh?"

Khronos raised an eye brow at Shen, then looked to Meredith and the other one joined the first.

"Really?" she asked, amazed.

Meredith went pink, blushing. "Um...uh...what do you mean Khronos? 'Really' isn't uhh...very specific." Meredith started to sweat a bit. She was nervous, now realising that Khronos might go apeshit realising Meredith....kind of lost her virginity to the Irken floating in the air. She smiled innocently, hoping Khronos would let the subject go.

Khronos glared at Meredith, an eye brow raised in question.

"What happened," she repeated more firmly, a slight growl sounding akin to an engine under toning her words.

It wasn't a question; it was a demand for answers.

Meredith gulped, "Uh...nothing! Mate is the new term for boyfriend or girlfriend is all! I swear!! Its like...well more than boyfriend/girlfriend....more like...eh heh...fiance..." Meredith had not been this scared since...she didn't even know when.

Shen blinked in mid air
"You didn't tell her we're enganged?" Shen asked a little stunned that she hadn't told her friend, "We've been together for ages Mer! You and my mother have been planning the wedding.. aswell as your mother."

Khronos raised an optic ridge. "What, and I wasn't invited?" she growled, leaning in close to Meredith's face.

Meredith gulped, "Uh...we didn't make the list yet, Khronos. We're more focused on getting the ship fixed and other things before the wedding. Swearsies!!"

Nodding, she smiled a fanged grin and murmured, "Sure, Meredith." Looking at the ship, she muttered tiredly, almost bitterly, "Piece of shit..."

Meredith cleared her throat, "uhh yeah...don't say that to Zero she'll re-write your memory curcits. And P.O.A on this thing?"

"Sure as hell I would."
Zero had returned, Vim was asleep on Talon's back. She put her hands on her hips.
"You know if you wanted to fix my ship then you should have asked." She grumbled unhapply

Meredith gulped loudly, knowing there was going to be a huge fight.

Talon had picked up on the high tension levels, cat fights existed prior to his time long ago, before being frozen in a solid sheet of ice. He edged out, carrying Vim on his back.

"I won't kill anyone... This time" Zero warned, she left the room.
"Well that was lucky... Fancy letting me down now sweetheart?" Asked shen

Vim continued to doze peacefully

Khronos shook her head. "Bitch," she muttered, before letting Shen land on his feet. Looking back over the ship. She shook her head again and sighed. "Lots of work to do..."

Shen let out a muffled ow as he hit the floor face first, Zero ignored Khrono's comment and stroked a wall fondly.
"I don't want anything changed ... But a restoration may be in order

Meredith's response to Zero was simple. She lifted a chunk of her hair and showed the damage of a recent panel falling on her head. The restoration was not a 'may be in order', it either got fixed up or someone was going to die. Injury was a daily occurance.

Khronos only absently watched them as they bickered amongst themselves, she was more interested in this old ship.

She'd gotten most of the design already, it wasn't that hard to do. She just wanted to get the actual blueprints or something because she wanted it to be as close to their technology as possible; she didn't want these...lesser creatures getting a hold of Decepticon technology.

It didn't matter that she was Meredith's "guardian," she would do anything for her but give out the technology her race had died for to create.

"Khro!! Fluff-head to Khronos do you read?" She waved her hand at Khronos to wake her from her thoughts.

Khronos looked over at Meredith, surprised. "Hmm?" she asked.

"You gonna look at the specs or are you going to just wing it? Because there is a large difference of tech here...mostly size." She smiled while clutching the old blue-prints in her hand...a data pad.

She nodded and held her hand out, motioning for the data pad. "Yeah, I'd like to know how big to make the parts." She smiled wanly.

Meredith blinked then gave her Guardian, whom she trusted with all her life and choices, the last bit of control she had...her home.

Khronos noticed Meredith's discomfort and assured softly, "I promise I won't let anything bad happen."

"Thanks...I think." She coughed and looked up at the stars. "And do think I used to be an Earthling."
