Sad Broken Little Toy

Whimpers sounded from DEL-bots bedroom, she was curled up under her covers in a small ball; inside her dreams it was pitch black, screams of pain and terror piecring her spark, frightened she ran blindly into the unknown, she gasped as nothing was beneath her foot and she tumbled into the abyss, she flailed her limbs.
"Such strange fragile little things sparks are... no one knows how much one can hurt when not raised to its programming... shall I show you how?" A voice hissed softly through the dark, Del stopped fallinh hitting unseen grown hard, she felt the wind knocked out of her and forced herself upright blinking, she saw three of her closest friends... Simon... Meredith... heck even Khrono's was there, they were suspended by an invisable force.
"Shall we begin?"
Their faces controted with pain as they began to be torn open by the dark, their shrieks of pure agony rining in Del's audios
"NO PLEASE STOP!" Del begged running, they where torn to shreads in moments a pulp of circuitry, and blood on the floor, Del looked in utter horror falling on her knees.
"N-No... S-Simon... M-Mer.. Kh-Khrono's..."
She heard a chuckle behind her and breath agaisnt her neck
"Poor Sad Broken little Toy... we haven't even started yet..."
Del spun to see no one, she gasped as the foor gave way seeing shadow like creatures below roaring and clawing at each other looking hungrly at her, Del screeched at the top of her vocilizer in terror.

"Del.....Del? DELLLL......DELLY-BOT WAKE YOUR SORRY ASS UP!!" A voice called out. In reality, it was Meredith poking Del, "You discharged oil in your bunk again..."

Del breathed heavily... a habit given to her with living with humans, fear iradiating from her optics, she saw Meredith and glimped her her arms and legs wrapping around her ignoring her accidental lubrication and she burst into baby tears, Simon came in rubbing the back of his head exsuasted.
"Same dream?" Simon mumbled, Meredith had come to stay over this night but little did Mer know, Del had been having this dream over and over for the past two days... she always ended up sleeping with Simon.

"Same as two hours ago, Simon..." She patted Dels back, shushing her softly. "I have a feeling of foreshadow here."

Simon sighed and smiled a bit
"I'm guessing you have this one covered... Jake wants me at the garage early tomorrow..." Simon yawned, he came over kissing the top of Del's helm and patting Meredith's shoulder, he left them to it, Del contnued to cry her chest shaking as she did

Meredith was not about to crop Del, the oil would poison her. She sat back and rocked Del like a child and shushed her, "Its okay Del, you're safe now."

Del let out chocked sobs as she tried to calm herself, it had felt so real... the breath so close
"I-I don't wanna r-recharge!" She whimpered

Meredith cradled Del, "Shh, shh, you don't have to. At least not right now..."

It took a while but Del's crying eventually wore down, she was tired but refused to let herself rest freaked out by the nightmares plauging her prcessor... the fear of the dark, falling, the unknown and her comradas being hurt keepiung her from relaxing*

Meredith was almost absent, staring off into space, half nodding off herself. Her head fell forward and smacked Dels forehead, "OW!!"

Del jerked then clung her head resting on Meredith's shoulder... she didn't want to be on her own at the moment

Meredith blinked, then her face lit up, despite the huge red mark on her forehead. "Del, what if I went in and got rid of the nightmare?"

Del tensed up immedetly... it could work... but it was risky.
"N-No... youll really get torn up!"Del stammered

"No, I won't go in that far! I swear!"

"No means no Mer! I'm n-not risking you." Del mumbled, she climbed off Meredith's lap to clean herself up

Meredith blinked at Del, worried.

Del showered, she wanted the nightmares ot stop of course.. but she didn't want the others to involve themselves in her processor.. she hadn't been right in there for a while

Meredith sighed and turned on the television.
